Hi, I am Kat founder of Right Side Support.
Why I founded Right Side support
''I believe nobody should have to face family court feeling alone, overwhelmed or unheard''.
Right Side Support was founded not only from my professional experience but from my personal journey. Having experienced domestic abuse and navigated family court proceedings myself, I understand how overwheleming, isolating and emotionally draining the process can feel.
Combined with my years of professional experience supporting people through domestic abuse and the family justice system, this had given me a unique understanding of both practical and emotional challenges people face.
I created Right Side Support because I believe nobody should have to face family court alone, unheard or unprepared. One case in particular stays with me. I was supporting a father experiencing domestic abuse whilst navigating the family court. I could see he needed more practical support than the boundaries of the service were able to provide. Helping him with paperwork and understanding the process of the family court process planted the seed for Right Side Support.
My aim is to provide the support I know I can make a real difference - helping clients feel informed, empowered and orgainsed throughtout their journey.
